Here Are Some Frequently Asked Questions...

What classes do you offer?

We offer a wide array of classes in hip-hop, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, pointe and clogging. Be sure to check out our classes tab HERE. 

What ages can dance?

We start children as early as 2 1/2 years and beyond! Yes, even adults. You are never too old to dance!

What shoes do I need?

Used shoes are sold in the studio for parents. We can also order new ones for you. As for the type, when your dancer decides which classes they will be taking, we will show you which ones they will need. To get a head start you can check out our CLASSES tab and read the description for your class. The shoe type is briefly explained there.

How will I know what's going on?

Notes are sent out monthly spotlighting upcoming events, costume payments, parades, parties, etc. 

Can I drop my child off?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage in order to keep our lobby from becoming crowded. If you are running late, no worries! Just call or text Mrs. Marie and a member of our staff will wait with your dancer.

Are there recitals?

Yes! Our studio performs a Christmas program for a local charity, Christmas parade, and spring recital.

When are we NOT at dance?

We observe Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break as dance holidays. If the weather is bad we follow Spartanburg district 4 school closing. If the school is closed because of weather, so are we. Be sure to watch News Channel 4, our closing will be announced there as well. 

What's the dress code?

Dance/work-out attire. No jeans or dresses! Always wear hair up and ALWAYS wear socks or tights!

When do classes start?

Classes start in September working towards a May recital. Summer dance camps are offered as well. Information for this will be given in May. 

Are dance pictures taken?

Yes! Dance pictures are made in the studio during dance class for your convenience.

What about costumes?

One recital costume is required per class. Costs range from $55 to $70. Payments are made up until December when costumes are ordered.   

When can I watch?

During the dance year we have two weeks where parents can come and sit in on their dancer's class! Wear your dancing shoes, you might just be encouraged to join in.

What are the rates?

Rates vary for each dancers. Large discounts are given with amount of classes added or with siblings. Call, text, or email for rates specific to your dancer(s). We have classes starting as low as $27 a month.
