Mrs. Marie
After much prayer and encouragement from family and friends, Mrs. Marie opened Re's Studio of Dance in July of 1984 with 34 dancers in the small blue building next door. As we grew, this new facility was opened in September 2006. Mrs. Marie began dancing at age 12 training in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Drill Team, Baton, and Poms. Later she added Clogging, Interpretive Movement, Lyrical, Pointe, and Hip-Hop. Mrs. Marie served as captain and co-captain of her high school and college drill teams and cheer squad. During college, Mrs. Marie was also a member of the Carolina Cowboys Cheerleaders from a semi-pro football team.
Mrs. Marie was inducted into the Professional Dance Teacher Organization in 1986, member of the Professional Clogging Leaders Association, named in Who's Who Among American Business Women, and Nation Association of Professional Women. Mrs. Marie is married to Eddie Coster and they have two children, Jake and Pressley who make their home in Woodruff.

Most Embarrassing Dance Moment: I was demonstrating a full turn while in the air and fell on my bunky in class during Parents Night.
Most Memorable Dance Moment: Winning the award for The Most Entertaining Performance of the day at a competition (two years in a row).
Favorite Verse: Isaiah 43:1 - "Don't be afraid, for I have ransomed you; I have called you by name; you are mine."

Mrs. Kim
Mrs. Kim has been dancing and helping her sister (Mrs. Marie) at the studio since it opened in 1984. Although she specializes in Interpretive Movement, Clogging, Colorguard, Lyrical, and Pixie Ballet, Mrs. Kim also has training in Tap, Jazz, and Cheerleading. She enjoys teaching the baby classes along side Miss Kayla and Miss Pressley. She is active in her church where she leads Expressions of Faith who use drama, interpretive movement, dowel rods, and signing to praise God. Mrs. Kim is married to Rev. Tim Huckaby and they are proud of their two children, Will and Cassidy.

Most Embarrassing Dance Moment: Accidentally slapping her husband's face during a couples dance.

Mrs. Pressley
Pressley Coster McAllister began her dance career at Re's Studio of Dance at 14 months old when her mom (Mrs. Marie) brought her on stage for the closing number of the recital. Miss Pressley has enjoyed teaching the baby classes, leading summer dance camps, helping with recitals and registration, and creating this website. She has been a teacher here for the past 12 years. She enjoys teaching alongside Miss Kayla and Mrs. Kim. Miss Pressley is a member of the adult Competition Clogging dance team however she has vast experience in all styles dance. She was a member of the Newberry College Scarlet Poms Dance Team where she performed at the college football games and in competitions. As of December 2018 she has a BS in Mathematics with a emphasis in Secondary Education from Newberry College.

Most Embarrassing Dance Moment: During a dance show at summer dance camp she was doing a turn and lost her footing causing her to fall into the mirror face first.
Most Memorable Dance Moment: Winning the 2018 Courage in Dance Award for undergoing two ankle reconstructive surgeries after getting hurt on her college dance team.
Favorite Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 - "'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'".
Ms Kayla
Kayla Christopher has been a student at Re's Studio of Dance for 20 years. She has training in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical Ballet, and Clogging. She is a member of the Adult Competition Clogging Team. Miss Kayla has been a teacher for 10 years at Re's. She enjoys teaching the babies along side Mrs. Kim and Miss Pressley. You will always see her helping behind the scenes. She really has a knack for working with little kids. Miss Kayla works a First Citizens Bank and is a licensed cosmetologist.

Most Embarrassing Dance Moment: Falling on the slick stage floor.
Most Memorable Dance Moment: Dancing with my daddy in the recital one year.

Mrs. Miley
Miley Jennings Lavender has been dancing at Re's Studio of Dance for 22 years. She and Miss Pressley began dancing at the same time in the same class! She has been teaching for 3 years alongside Mrs. Marie. Mrs. Miley has experience in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Clogging, and Hip-Hop. She is a member of the Adult Competition Clogging Team. Mrs. Miley can be seen behind the scenes keeping everything in order. You might just see her dad, Leroy, helping Mrs. Marie with the recital. She has a Vet Tech degree from Greenville Technical College and currently works at HealthPointe Veterinary Clinic. Mrs. Miley is recently married to Alex Lavender and they have a future dancer on the way!
